The Hisense A9G is Hisense's OLED model — a value-focused alternative to the bigger OLED brands. We handle the OLED panel with care, supply the bracket (not included), and set up Dolby Atmos before we leave. Part of our full TV wall mounting service.
We install Hisense A9G OLED TVs across London and the South East in 55" and 65" sizes, including all model years.
About This TV
What Makes the Hisense A9G Different
The A9G is Hisense's flagship OLED — LG-sourced panel, Dolby Atmos, and a price tag well below Sony and LG equivalents.
Why People Buy It
OLED Quality, Budget Price
The A9G uses an OLED panel sourced from LG Display — the same technology that powers LG C-Series and Sony Bravia OLED TVs — at a price significantly below both. Perfect blacks, infinite contrast ratio, and wide viewing angles are identical to more expensive OLED sets. It's a compelling buy for anyone who wants true OLED without paying the premium brand premium.
OLED Panel Technology
Every Pixel Its Own Light Source
Unlike LED TVs that use a backlight, each pixel on an OLED panel produces its own light and can switch off completely — delivering true blacks and a contrast ratio that no LED TV can match. This also means the panel is thinner and more fragile than a standard LED TV, requiring careful two-person handling during installation. Laying the panel flat or applying pressure to the screen risks permanent damage.
Sizes & Weight
55" and 65" — Both Handled
55"
~18 kg
65"
~25 kg
Both sizes handled with a two-person team. OLED panels are always carried vertically — never laid flat on the screen.
The Installation Difference
OLED Requires Specialist Care
The A9G has no bracket in the box. The OLED panel is significantly more fragile than any LED TV at the same size — twisting the frame during mounting can crack the panel internally without any visible external damage. We use OLED-safe handling techniques, verify VESA point locations before tightening, and confirm all fixings are flush before the TV is hanging on the wall.
OLED panels from any brand require specialist handling — the A9G is no exception, regardless of its price point.
What We Do
The Full A9G Installation
Here is everything we handle — as part of our professional TV mounting service.
OLED Panel Handling
OLED panels require careful two-person handling at all times. We never lay the A9G flat and always carry it vertically. The slim back panel is checked before bracketing to confirm all VESA points are clear.
Bracket Supply & Fitting
No bracket is included with the A9G. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right VESA-compatible one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van so you can buy one on the day rated for your wall type — fixed low-profile for a flush look, tilting for height adjustment, or full-motion for corner positioning.
Cable Management
All cables — power, HDMI, and optical audio — are routed cleanly behind the plasterboard wall or through surface trunking. The A9G’s rear port layout makes in-wall routing especially clean on this model.
Dolby Atmos & Audio Setup
The A9G supports Dolby Atmos via its built-in speaker system and eARC port. We configure the audio output settings, connect your soundbar or AV receiver via HDMI eARC, and confirm Dolby Atmos passthrough is working before leaving.

Common Questions
Hisense A9G OLED FAQ
Does the Hisense A9G OLED come with a wall mount bracket?
No — the A9G includes a tabletop stand only. A compatible VESA wall mount bracket must be purchased separately. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van rated for your wall type and TV size as part of every installation.
How fragile is an OLED panel compared to a standard LED TV?
OLED panels are thinner and more flexible than LED/LCD panels, which makes them more vulnerable to pressure, twisting, and incorrect handling during installation. The A9G should never be laid flat on its screen. We carry OLEDs vertically at all times and use a two-person lift for any size above 55".
What VESA pattern does the Hisense A9G use?
The Hisense A9G uses a VESA 300×300 pattern on 55" models and VESA 400×300 on 65" models. We verify the exact VESA dimensions before supplying your bracket to ensure a correct and safe fit.
Can the Hisense A9G be mounted on a plasterboard wall?
Yes, with the correct fixings. The A9G is around 18 kg at 55" and 25 kg at 65" (per Hisense's published specifications), which is within the safe range for plasterboard with cavity fixings or timber noggins. We assess your wall before drilling and confirm the fixing method before starting.
How do I hide the cables on a Hisense A9G OLED after wall mounting?
The A9G has rear-facing ports, so cables drop directly down the back of the TV. We can route cables behind the plasterboard wall for a completely flush look, or through surface trunking for a neat finish without any plastering. We discuss the best option for your wall type before starting.
