What Affects Your Quote?
Every home is different. Two of these factors are fixed by your setup — two are entirely your call. We'll always explain each one before we start. For a full walkthrough of how we mount, see our core TV mounting service.
TV Size
Based on your TVTV size drives the load on the wall — and the load drives the procedure. For TVs up to 55", a single secure fixing pattern handles the weight comfortably. From 65" upwards, we calculate the weight distribution across the bracket arms, locate studs or use cavity fixings rated well above the TV's static load, and add a second pair of hands for the lift itself — never a one-person job at that size. Years of installs across every common bracket pattern mean we know which fixings hold what, on which wall, at which size. You can lift with us, or we can bring a second installer — either way, the safety procedure stays the same.
Wall Type
Based on your homeWall type sets the entire fixing strategy. On brick or concrete, we drill through the plaster, sleeve into solid masonry, and the load goes straight into the structure. On plasterboard, the procedure is different: we use a stud finder to locate timber wherever possible, fix straight into it, and for any fixings landing in the cavity we use heavy-duty cavity anchors rated above the TV's weight. Chimney breasts get checked for hollow-wall sections and brick condition before any drilling. Dot-and-dab needs longer fixings to reach the masonry behind the air gap. Every wall gets a tap-test, a stud check and a load assessment before the first hole — that's the procedure backed by City & Guilds Level 3 training and years of doing this on every wall type London homes throw at us.
Bracket Type
Your choiceThe bracket is what actually carries the TV — choosing the right one matters. Flat brackets sit closest to the wall, distribute load evenly across all four fixings, and are the most reliable choice for any TV size. Tilt brackets add a downward angle, useful when mounting above eye level. Full-motion brackets swing and rotate, which puts more leverage on the fixings and demands a stronger wall and a more careful weight calculation — fine on brick, more involved on plasterboard. We carry the right brackets for every TV size up to 85" and bring them on the day; if you have your own, we check it's rated for your TV's VESA pattern and weight before fitting. The advice is grounded in years of installs across thousands of TVs.
Cable Management
Your choiceCable management is purely a finish choice — the install behind it is the same. Tucking cables behind the TV is the simplest option. Surface trunking runs cables inside a low-profile conduit along the wall — works on any wall type, paint-able to match. Behind-wall concealment is plasterboard-only: we cut neat access points, route cables through the cavity using fish-tape, and patch the openings cleanly. The procedure varies by cable type — low-voltage HDMI/coax can run in the cavity directly, but mains routing follows BS 7671 wiring regulations. We explain the right option for your wall and your wiring before you commit.
On-the-Day Complications
Can happen on any jobOccasionally a wall behaves differently to what was described — a cavity where solid was expected, a hollow chimney breast section, old fixings left buried, a rotten timber stud, or signs the wall needs reinforcement before it can safely take the load. Spotting these takes experience: a tap-test, a careful first pilot hole, and reading the wall properly before committing. When we find something, we stop, explain what we've found and why it changes the approach, and agree the next step before doing anything else. Nothing gets added to your bill without your approval — and nothing gets drilled until we're confident the wall will safely hold your TV for the long term.
On-the-Day Add-ons
Your choiceOnce the TV is mounted, many customers want to go further — a longer HDMI run, additional trunking, a soundbar fitted underneath, a floating shelf for a Sky box or console, or LED backlighting for a cinema feel. We carry the common kit on the van and can usually fit add-ons in the same visit, following the same fixing and safety procedure as the main install. You're never committed upfront — decide on the day, and we'll quote and confirm before starting.

Common Questions
Pricing FAQs
- TV wall mounting in London starts from £100 for a basic install and goes up to £230 for our Signature tier with LED backlighting and fully concealed cables. Typical pricing: Basic from £100, Standard from £150, Premium from £200, Signature from £230. Final price depends on TV size, wall type, bracket and cable management — all jobs include fixings, wall inspection and cleanup.
- We quote per job — quoted scope = quoted price, including evenings and weekends at the same rate. If we arrive and find the job needs additional work beyond what was agreed, we'll always explain and get your approval before proceeding. Check our coverage area for serviced postcodes.
- Either works. If you ask for a bracket when you book, we bring the right type and VESA size on the day — our Standard tier (from £150) includes a quality flat, tilt, or full-motion bracket. If you supply your own, we'll fit it (Basic tier from £100) — we'll check it's right for your wall first. We also carry brackets in the van, so a wrong bracket on the day isn't a problem. See our bracket installation service for the full range.
- Cash, bank transfer, or contactless card. You pay on completion — no deposit required.
- No. Our pricing is the same 7 days a week, including evenings — and same-day slots are priced the same as scheduled bookings. The price you're quoted when you book is the price you pay — regardless of when your appointment is.
- If we arrive and find the wall is more complex than described — for example, an unusual stud configuration or unexpected cavity in plasterboard — we'll explain the situation before doing any additional work. We'll never charge more than your agreed price without discussing it with you first.
- Our quote wizard gives you a personalised online estimate based on your TV size, wall type, and cable management preferences. The more accurate your details, the closer the estimate will be to your final price. After you submit, we'll call or text you to confirm any additional details, then give you a final quote. The final price is always agreed before any work begins.
- Yes. If you're having two or more TVs mounted in the same visit, we'll include a multi-TV discount in your quote automatically — you don't need to ask. This is common for house moves or new-build homes with multiple rooms.
- Yes. We mount all major brands — LG, Samsung, Sony, Hisense, TCL, Panasonic, Philips, and more. Some specialist TVs such as the Samsung Frame or LG Gallery series have specific mounting requirements, so get in touch and we'll advise on the best approach for your model.
- Full behind-wall cable concealment on a plasterboard wall is included in our Premium tier from £200. If you prefer surface trunking instead, that's included in the Standard tier from £150, or from £25 as an add-on to the Basic tier. Behind-wall runs on solid brick or concrete are quoted separately as they require more time and specialist tools.
- Soundbar mounting starts from £50 as an add-on to any TV mounting job. We mount all brands — Samsung, Sony, Bose, Sonos, LG — either above or below the TV, with cables routed cleanly to match your chosen cable management option. Add it on the day or include it in your original quote.
