What We Do

TV and Bracket — Both Removed

Done at the start of your TV mounting visit — old TV out, new TV up, in one appointment.

Safe Screen Removal

The TV is carefully lifted off the wall bracket by hand — no tools near the screen. For larger TVs, a two-person lift ensures safe handling throughout. The screen is placed safely to one side while bracket removal takes place.

Bracket Removed from Wall

Wall fixings are extracted and the bracket removed as standard. If you would prefer the bracket to stay in place (for example, to refit a new TV with the same VESA pattern), just let us know.

Any Wall Type

We remove brackets from plasterboard, brick, and concrete walls. The wall is left with the fixing holes exposed — hole filling and making good is the customer's responsibility.

TV Disposal

Disposal of the old TV is the customer's responsibility. For smaller TVs, we may be able to take it away — but this needs to be agreed with us before the job. Contact us with the TV size to discuss.

TV Dismount FAQ

TV dismount is offered as an add-on when we come to mount a new TV — we take down the old one in the same visit. If you need a TV removed without a new mount, contact us and we will discuss what we can accommodate.
Yes — we remove both the TV and the wall bracket as standard, extracting the fixings from the wall. If you would prefer the bracket to stay in place (for example, to fit a new TV later), just let us know.
No — we do not carry out plastering or hole filling. Once the TV and bracket are removed, the wall is left with the fixing holes exposed. Filling and making good is the customer's responsibility, or can be arranged separately with a decorator.
This depends on the size and situation. For smaller TVs we can sometimes dispose — but this needs to be discussed with us before the job. Contact us with the TV size and we will confirm. For larger TVs, disposal is the customer's responsibility.
A standard dismount — TV off the wall and bracket removed — is usually a short part of a TV-mounting visit. It is done at the start, before the new TV goes up. Awkward or large TVs may take longer; we estimate the visit length at booking.
TV dismount is from £25. If you're moving and need a remount at a new address, the dismount fee is usually rolled into the new install (from £100). See /pricing.
