The Installation Difference
Budget TV, Same Care Required
Budget TVs can still be damaged by incorrect mounting. The U6's slim bezel and back panel design mean the VESA mounting points are in specific locations that a wrong bracket can stress. No bracket is included in the box. If you ask for a bracket when you book, we bring the right one for your TV; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it and handle the TV correctly regardless of its price point.
A budget price does not mean budget care — every TV we mount gets the same professional installation.

Bracket Supply & Fitting
No bracket is included with the U6. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right VESA-compatible one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van so you can buy one on the day rated for your wall type and TV size — fixed, tilting, or full-motion.
Cable Management
We route all cables — power, HDMI, and ethernet — cleanly behind the plasterboard wall or through surface trunking. The U6's Fire TV platform benefits from a stable ethernet connection.
Fire TV & Alexa Setup
The U6N runs Fire TV with Alexa Voice Remote. We connect Wi-Fi, log in to your Amazon account, and set up your streaming apps so the TV is ready to use the moment installation is complete.
Gaming Configuration
The U6 supports 144Hz refresh rate and FreeSync Premium. We enable Game Mode, confirm VRR is active on the correct HDMI port, and verify input lag settings for gaming.

Is the Hisense U6 genuinely Mini-LED?
Yes. The Hisense U6N is Hisense's entry-level Mini-LED TV — it uses a Mini-LED backlight with local dimming zones. It has fewer dimming zones than the U7 and U8, so contrast and black levels are not as precise, but it still delivers a significant improvement over standard LED backlighting at a much lower price.
Does the Hisense U6 come with a wall mount bracket?
No — the U6 includes a tabletop stand only. A VESA-compatible wall mount bracket must be purchased separately. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van for your wall type and TV size as part of the installation.
How heavy is the Hisense U6?
The U6 is lighter than the U7 and U8 because it has fewer Mini-LED components. The 55" model is around 13 kg, the 65" around 18 kg, and the 75" around 25 kg (per Hisense's published specifications). A wide TV-size range are suitable for plasterboard with the correct fixings.
What is the difference between the Hisense U6, U7, and U8?
The U8 is Hisense's flagship Mini-LED with 3,000+ dimming zones, exceptional brightness, and full gaming features. The U7 is mid-range with 1,000+ nits and 144Hz. The U6 is entry-level Mini-LED — fewer dimming zones, lower peak brightness, but still a genuinely good picture at a budget price. Installation requirements are similar across all three.
Can a Hisense U6 be mounted on a plasterboard wall?
Yes. The U6 is one of the lighter TVs in the Mini-LED category, making it well-suited to plasterboard mounting with standard cavity fixings. We assess the wall before drilling and confirm the fixing method for your specific size.
