The Installation Difference
Wide Size Range Needs the Right Kit
The C6 is available in sizes from 43" to 98" — meaning the installation requirements vary enormously. A 43" needs a light bracket and standard fixings. A 98" needs a heavy-duty bracket rated for 58+ kg, verified wall structure, and two installers. We come prepared for every size.

Bracket Supply & Fitting
No bracket is included with the C6. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right VESA-compatible one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van so you can buy one on the day for your wall type and TV size — fixed, tilting, or full-motion. The 98" models need heavy-duty brackets we stock specifically.
Cable Management
We route power, HDMI, and ethernet cables cleanly — behind the plasterboard wall for a fully hidden finish or through surface trunking for a neat visible run.
Google TV Setup
The C6 runs Google TV with built-in Chromecast. We connect Wi-Fi, log in to your Google account, install your streaming apps, and verify Chromecast is working from your phone.
Large Format Installation
TCL offers the C6 in 85" and 98" — sizes that require two installers, heavy-duty brackets, and verified wall fixings. We handle large format C6 installations safely across London and the South East.

What is the TCL C6 Series?
The TCL C6 Series (also sold as C655 or C6K depending on the year) is TCL's entry-level QLED range. It uses Quantum Dot colour technology for wider colour coverage than standard LED TVs, with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. It is a popular budget choice available from 43" to 98".
Does the TCL C6 come with a wall mount bracket?
No. The C6 Series includes a tabletop stand only. A VESA-compatible wall bracket must be purchased separately. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van for your wall type and TV size.
Is the TCL C6 suitable for plasterboard walls?
Yes. The C6 is lighter than Mini-LED TVs of the same size, making it well-suited to plasterboard walls. The 55" is around 10 kg and the 65" around 14 kg (per TCL's published specifications). We use the appropriate cavity fixings or stud mounting depending on your wall.
What is the difference between the TCL C6, C7, and C8?
The C8 is TCL's premium Mini-LED — the highest brightness, most dimming zones, and best gaming specs. The C7 is mid-range Mini-LED with 144Hz. The C6 is entry-level QLED (not Mini-LED) — standard LED backlight with Quantum Dot colour layer, 60Hz panel. The C6 delivers great picture quality for the price but is a different technology from the C7 and C8.
Can the 98" TCL C6 be wall-mounted?
Yes, but it requires careful assessment. A 98" C6 is around 55–60 kg (per TCL's published specifications) and requires a heavy-duty bracket rated for that weight, plus verified wall structure — either masonry or solid stud fixing is essential. We assess 98" installations before confirming booking.
