Heavy Panel Handling
QNED TVs are heavier than expected due to the Mini-LED backlight array. The 75" is around 30 kg and the 86" around 42 kg (per LG's published specifications). We use two installers for all 65" and above models, with proper lifting technique and wall support.
Bracket Supply & Fitting
No bracket is included with any QNED model. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right VESA-compatible one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van so you can buy one on the day rated for your TV size and wall type — fixed, tilting, or full-motion depending on your preference and room layout.
Cable Management
We route all cables cleanly — HDMI, power, optical, and ethernet — behind the plasterboard wall or through surface trunking. Large QNED TVs benefit from in-wall cable hiding for the cleanest possible finish.
Smart TV Setup
Once mounted, we connect Wi-Fi, set up your streaming apps on webOS, configure picture settings for your room lighting, and verify all HDMI ports are working. We also enable gaming features if you have a console.

What bracket does the LG QNED need?
LG QNED TVs use standard VESA mounting patterns (typically 300×300 for smaller sizes and 400×400 for 75" and above). No bracket is included in the box — only a tabletop stand. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right VESA-compatible one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van so you can buy one on the day rated for your specific model's weight and your wall type.
Can plasterboard support a 75" or 86" QNED?
The 75" QNED weighs approximately 30 kg and the 86" weighs approximately 42 kg. At these weights, plasterboard alone is not sufficient — we need to locate timber studs or use specialist heavy-duty cavity fixings rated for the load. We assess your wall before installation and advise on the best approach.
What is the difference between LG QNED and LG OLED?
OLED uses self-emitting pixels with no backlight, giving perfect blacks and infinite contrast. QNED uses a Mini-LED backlight behind an LCD panel with Quantum Dot and NanoCell layers. QNED is brighter in well-lit rooms and more affordable, but OLED has better contrast and viewing angles. Installation requirements differ mainly in weight — QNED TVs are heavier due to the Mini-LED backlight array.
