Panasonic OLED
Installation
Panasonic OLED TVs are favoured by home cinema buyers for reference-grade picture tuning, and they tend to be heavier than standard OLEDs due to the dual-layer panel. We handle Panasonic OLEDs correctly, supply the right bracket, confirm wall fixings for the actual weight, and configure your panel for cinematic performance. Part of our full TV wall mounting service.
We have installed Panasonic OLED TVs across London and the South East — Z95B, MZ2000, and LZ2000 models. Buyers of these TVs expect precision: we deliver it.
About This TV
What Makes Panasonic OLED Different
Panasonic OLEDs are built for home cinema precision and are the heaviest OLED panels on the market. Installation must match the standard of the TV itself.
Why People Buy It
Hollywood-Grade Picture Quality
Panasonic OLED is built around reference-grade colour tuning — calibrated to the same standards used in professional colour grading. The MZ2000 uses a Master HDR OLED Professional Edition panel. The Z95B adds Micro Lens Array for increased brightness. These are TVs bought by people who care deeply about picture accuracy.
The Heaviest OLEDs Available
Dual-Layer OLED Weight
The MZ2000 uses a dual-layer OLED panel — two OLED layers stacked for increased brightness. This makes it significantly heavier than single-layer OLED TVs. The 65" MZ2000 is around 35kg (per Panasonic's published specifications). Wall fixings must be rated for this weight.

Installation Difference
Fragile Panel, Heavy Frame
Panasonic OLED panels are fragile in the same way as all OLEDs — but their heavier frames mean incorrect lifting risks panel flexing. We follow strict OLED handling throughout and confirm wall fixings before drilling.
Panasonic buyers invest in picture accuracy. The installation should match that standard.
What We Do
The Full Panasonic OLED Installation
From specialist panel handling to calibration-ready setup — as part of our professional TV mounting service.
OLED Panel Handling
Panasonic OLEDs are among the heaviest OLED panels available. Correct handling protocol — careful two-person lift for larger sizes, no screen pressure, panel protection throughout. OLED screens are fragile regardless of weight.
Bracket Supply & Fitting
No bracket included. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van, confirming VESA pattern and weight rating for your Panasonic model and size. MZ2000 weight requires a bracket rated appropriately — not all brackets qualify.
Cable Management
All connections direct to back of TV. We route cables via surface trunking or in-wall for a clean result — planned before the bracket goes up. OLED panels have limited clearance when mounted close to the wall.
Calibration-Ready Setup
Once mounted, we configure the TV for Filmmaker Mode and professional colour preset, connect to Wi-Fi, and set up inputs so you can proceed to Calman calibration if required. The TV is fully operational before we leave.

Common Questions
Panasonic OLED FAQ
Does Panasonic OLED come with a wall bracket?
No — Panasonic OLED TVs do not include a wall mount bracket. A stand is included but no wall bracket. Given the weight of Panasonic OLED panels — particularly the MZ2000 — sourcing the correct bracket for the VESA pattern and weight rating is essential. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van as part of our installation service, confirmed before we arrive.
Why is the Panasonic MZ2000 heavier than other OLED TVs?
The Panasonic MZ2000 uses a dual-layer OLED panel — two OLED emissive layers stacked on top of each other to produce greater peak brightness than a standard single-layer OLED. This dual-layer construction adds significant weight to the panel assembly. The 65" MZ2000 is around 35kg (per Panasonic's published specifications) — substantially heavier than LG or Sony OLED TVs at the same size, and heavier than many Mini-LED TVs. This means wall fixings need to be confirmed for the MZ2000 specifically, not a standard OLED weight.
Can you mount a Panasonic OLED on plasterboard?
Yes — but the approach depends on the TV size and wall structure. For the lighter Panasonic models (48" and 55") cavity fixings into plasterboard can be used if the wall board is in good condition. For 65" and 77" models — particularly the MZ2000 — we prefer to locate and fix into the studs or blocking behind the plasterboard for maximum security. We assess the wall structure before drilling and confirm the correct approach.
Can you set up Filmmaker Mode on a Panasonic OLED?
Yes — once mounted, we configure Filmmaker Mode on your Panasonic OLED, which disables motion smoothing and post-processing to show films exactly as the director intended. We also configure the professional colour preset suited to your room, connect to Wi-Fi, and set up all inputs so the TV is operational before we leave.
Is the Panasonic OLED suitable for Calman calibration after wall mounting?
Yes — Panasonic OLED TVs are Calman-ready, meaning they support direct integration with Portrait Displays Calman calibration software. After wall mounting, we configure the TV into the appropriate calibration-ready state and set up the professional colour preset. If you are having a professional calibration done afterwards, we can set the TV up to make that process straightforward. We do not perform Calman calibration ourselves but we leave the TV correctly configured for it.
