Installation Difference
No Bracket Included, Deep Profile
Neo QLED does not include a wall bracket. The Mini-LED backlight depth means the TV is thicker than OLED — cable clearance must be planned for the actual depth, not an assumed slim profile. We source the correct bracket depth and confirm cable routing before installation.
Neo QLED is the most physically demanding TV to install correctly. Getting fixings and bracket depth right is not optional.

Weight Assessment & Wall Fixings
Neo QLED TVs are among the heaviest consumer TVs available. We assess the wall type and confirm fixings rated for the actual TV weight — not an estimate. Particularly important at 75" and above.
Bracket Supply & Fitting
No bracket in box. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van depth for the Mini-LED profile, confirming VESA pattern and weight rating for your exact model. Some slim brackets will not provide adequate depth for Neo QLED connections.
Cable Management
The Neo QLED's deeper profile allows more cable clearance than OLED — but routing still needs to be planned before the bracket goes up. Surface trunking or in-wall concealment available.
Samsung Setup
Once mounted, we configure Quantum Matrix settings, connect to Samsung SmartThings, set up picture modes, and verify all inputs are working before we leave.

No — Samsung Neo QLED TVs do not include a wall mount bracket in the box. A stand is provided but no wall bracket. Given the size and weight of Neo QLED panels — particularly at 75" and above — sourcing the correct bracket for the VESA pattern and weight rating is essential. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van as part of our installation service.
How heavy is a Samsung Neo QLED 85"?
Per Samsung's published specifications, the Samsung Neo QLED 85" (QN90 series) weighs approximately 60kg. This is among the heaviest consumer TVs available and requires solid wall fixings — ideally into masonry or solid blockwork. Plasterboard alone cannot support this weight safely. We assess the wall type before drilling and confirm fixings rated for the actual TV weight. For brick or concrete walls we use appropriate masonry fixings; for timber-framed walls we locate and fix into the structural studs.
Can you mount a 98" Samsung Neo QLED?
Yes — we install Samsung Neo QLED TVs up to 98". Per Samsung's published specifications the 98" model weighs approximately 84kg and requires a thorough wall assessment before installation. At this size, the wall structure, fixing points, and bracket depth all need to be confirmed before any drilling takes place. We carry the correct brackets and fixings for large-format installations and assess the wall fully before committing to a position.
Is a Samsung Neo QLED thicker than an OLED TV?
Yes — Samsung Neo QLED TVs are thicker than comparable OLED screens due to the Mini-LED backlight unit behind the panel. This affects how much cable clearance is available behind the TV when wall-mounted. Unlike OLED, the deeper profile of Neo QLED means cables can usually be routed without a fully flush bracket — but the depth still needs to be planned before installation.
