The Installation Difference
Fragile Panel, No Bracket Included
The S90D's OLED panel can crack or develop dead pixels if mishandled. No wall bracket is included in the box. A VESA bracket must be purchased and fitted correctly — the wrong bracket or incorrect torque on VESA bolts can stress the thin rear casing. If you ask for a bracket when you book, we bring the correct one; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it and handle the TV with specialist care.

OLED Panel Handling
The S90D's OLED panel is ultra-thin and fragile. We handle it with specialist care throughout — always supporting from behind, never flexing the panel, and using two installers for 65" and above.
Bracket Supply & Fitting
No bracket is included with the S90D. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right VESA-compatible one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van so you can buy one on the day rated for your wall type and TV size — fixed, tilting, or full-motion depending on your preference.
Cable Management
Samsung OLED TVs have rear-facing ports on the back panel. We route HDMI, power, and optical cables cleanly behind the plasterboard wall or through surface trunking for a minimal, cable-free look.
Gaming & Smart Setup
The S90D supports 144Hz gaming with FreeSync Premium Pro. We configure Game Mode, enable VRR on the correct HDMI port, connect Wi-Fi, and set up Samsung TV Plus and your streaming apps.

Do you install the new Samsung S90F (2025)?
Yes. The Samsung S90F is the 2025 successor to the S90D — same OLED panel design, refined processor and brightness, identical wall-mounting requirements. Everything on this page applies to the S90F as well: VESA-compatible bracket needed (none included in the box), ultra-thin panel handled with specialist OLED care, cable hiding routed through plasterboard or trunking. We mount S90F across all UK sizes (42", 48", 55", 65", 77", 83").
What is the difference between the Samsung S90D and S95D?
Both are Samsung OLEDs but with key differences. The S95D is QD-OLED (Quantum Dot OLED) with a pioneering anti-glare matte coating — better colour, higher brightness, and glare resistance. The S90D is a standard WOLED panel without the QD layer or anti-glare coating, making it more affordable. Installation is similar for both, but the S90D is available in a wider size range including 42" and 48".
Is the Samsung S90D panel fragile?
Yes. Like all OLED TVs, the S90D has an extremely thin, flexible panel that can be damaged by pressure, bending, or impact. The panel is thinner than a smartphone in places. We handle OLED panels with specialist care — always supporting from behind, never applying pressure to the screen face, and using two people for 65" and above.
Does the Samsung S90D come with a wall mount bracket?
No. The S90D includes only a tabletop stand. You need a VESA-compatible wall bracket rated for the TV's weight. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van for your wall type and TV size.
Can the Samsung S90D be flush-mounted like the Frame TV?
No — the S90D is not designed for flush mounting. It uses standard VESA brackets which hold the TV a few centimetres from the wall. Samsung's no-gap flush mount is exclusive to The Frame TV. The S90D looks excellent on a standard tilt bracket, especially given its ultra-slim profile.
Which wall types can the Samsung S90D be mounted on?
All wall types — brick, plasterboard, concrete, or chimney breast. The S90D is relatively light for its size (the 55" weighs approximately 12 kg), making it suitable for plasterboard walls with cavity fixings. We assess your wall before installation and confirm the correct fixing method.
