Full automatic channel scan — all available channels found and correctly ordered.

Wi-Fi Connection

TV connected to your home network. Wired ethernet connected if preferred and a wall outlet is available.

Streaming Apps

Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, ITVX, BBC iPlayer — whichever you use, signed in and confirmed working.

HDMI Inputs Labelled

Each HDMI input named and confirmed — Sky, PS5, Xbox, Apple TV, soundbar — no more guessing which input is which.

Picture Mode Set

Factory default picture settings adjusted to a sensible mode for your room. Motion smoothing turned off if appropriate.

External Devices Connected

Soundbar, games console, Sky box, or any other connected device — all confirmed working before we finish.

No TV Mounting Required

TV setup and tuning is the one service we offer that can be booked on its own — no mounting job required. If you have a new TV that needs configuring, or existing equipment that has never been properly set up, get in touch and we will come out just for the setup.

Yes — unlike our other add-on services, TV setup and tuning can be booked as a standalone service. If you have a new TV that needs configuring, or an existing TV that has never been properly set up, we can come out just for the setup.
We handle the typical setup — Freeview or Freesat channel scan, Wi-Fi connection, streaming app configuration, HDMI input labelling, picture mode selection, and connecting external devices such as a soundbar, console, or streaming box. The exact time depends on how many apps and devices need configuring; we test each step before we leave.
Yes — we configure whichever streaming apps you use. You will need your login details to hand. We sign in, confirm the apps are working, and make sure the TV remote can control everything correctly.
Yes — we run a full automatic channel scan for Freeview or Freesat and confirm the available channels are coming in. If you are in an area with reception issues, a scan alone may not resolve missing channels — we will let you know what we find and what your options are.
Yes — devices you have connected to the TV (soundbar, games console, Sky box, Apple TV, streaming stick) are connected and tested as part of the setup. We label HDMI inputs so you know which is which, and confirm the configured devices are working before we leave.
