Installation Difference
No Bracket, Deep Profile
TCL C8 does not include a wall bracket. The Mini-LED depth means cable clearance must be planned. Some slim brackets will not provide adequate clearance for the connections. We bring the right bracket depth for the C8 profile.

Bracket Supply & Fitting
No bracket included. If you ask for a bracket when you book, we bring the correct one; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it for your C8 size, VESA pattern, and wall type. Mini-LED depth means some slim brackets will not provide adequate clearance — we bring the right one.
Cable Management
Mini-LED depth gives more clearance than OLED — we still plan cable routing before mounting. Surface trunking or in-wall options available. Routing is confirmed before the bracket goes up.
Google TV Setup
Once mounted, we connect to Wi-Fi, set up Google TV, configure local dimming settings, and verify all inputs are working before we leave. The C8 picture looks its best with local dimming configured for your room.

Does the TCL C8 come with a wall mount bracket?
No — the TCL C8 does not include a wall mount bracket. A stand is included in the box but no wall bracket. The correct bracket must be sourced for the specific VESA pattern and weight of your C8 size. If you’d like a bracket, we’ll add the right one to your quote and bring it on the day; if you’d rather supply your own, we’ll fit it; we also carry brackets in the van as part of our installation service.
How heavy is the TCL C8?
The TCL C8 is heavier than standard LED or QLED TVs at the same size due to the Mini-LED backlight unit. The C8 75" is around 40kg, the 85" around 55kg, and the 98" around 80kg (per TCL's published specifications) — buyers are often surprised by the weight. We confirm wall fixings for the actual C8 weight before drilling, which will differ from the approach for a standard LED TV.
Can the TCL C8 be mounted on plasterboard?
Yes — but the approach depends on the size. For 55" and 65" C8 models, cavity fixings into plasterboard can be used if the board is in good condition. For 75" and above, the Mini-LED weight means we prefer to locate and fix into the structural studs behind the plasterboard. We assess the wall before drilling and confirm the correct fixing method for your TV size.
What is the VESA pattern on the TCL C8?
The VESA pattern on the TCL C8 varies by screen size. Smaller models (55" and 65") use a different VESA pattern from the larger models (75", 85", and 98"). We confirm the exact VESA pattern for your specific C8 size and model (C845 or C935) before arriving — and bring the correct bracket to match.
Can you set up Google TV and local dimming after mounting?
Yes — once mounted, we connect to your Wi-Fi, complete the Google TV initial setup, configure local dimming settings for your room, and verify all inputs are working before we leave. Google TV setup includes signing in, configuring the launcher, and setting up any connected devices. Local dimming configuration makes a significant difference to the C8 picture quality and is worth doing correctly from the start.
