Corner TV Wall Mounting
Corner mounting a TV maximises wall space and can give every seat in the room a good viewing angle. It needs the right bracket type and a proper angle assessment — we handle both, on most wall types (confirmed on the day). Part of our full TV wall mounting service across London.
Brick, plasterboard, or concrete — most domestic corner setups across common wall types. TV size suitability confirmed against the wall and bracket on the day. City & Guilds Level 3 trained.
The Challenge
Why Corner TV Mounting Needs Careful Planning
Standard flat brackets do not work in corners
A standard flat bracket positions the TV flush to the wall. In a corner, this means the TV faces at 90 degrees to the corner — pointing into the adjacent wall rather than into the room. A corner requires either a dedicated angled bracket or a long-arm articulating mount.
Cable routing in corners is more complex
Cables running straight down a flat wall are simple. In a corner, the cable route must follow the corner angle, which requires right-angle trunking or an angled cable channel. Poorly managed corner cables are very visible and ruin the look.
Viewing angle needs planning
The primary seating position relative to the corner determines the correct angle for the TV. Getting this wrong means watching the TV from an off-axis angle — washed-out colours and eye strain. We always check viewing angle with you before deciding on the final TV position.
Two Approaches
Corner Mounting Options
We assess your room and recommend the best approach. Both have genuine advantages depending on your setup.
Dedicated Corner Bracket
A bracket specifically designed for corner installation. Typically mounts on one wall and positions the TV at 45 degrees to the corner. Low profile, clean look, and no arm extension required. Best when the corner position is fixed.
+ Low profile · Clean look · Stable
— Fixed angle — cannot be adjusted once installed
Full Motion (Articulating) Bracket
A long-arm full-motion bracket mounted on one wall. The arm extends outward and can swivel to position the TV at any angle, including into the corner. More flexible — the TV can be repositioned for different viewing positions or pushed flush to the wall.
+ Flexible angle · Swings flat when not in use
— Larger arm · Higher fixing load on single wall

Common Questions
Corner TV Mounting FAQ
Can a TV be mounted in a corner?
Yes — corner TV mounting is possible and increasingly popular. The two main approaches are a dedicated corner TV bracket (which mounts on one wall and angles the TV into the corner) or an articulating full-motion bracket that allows the TV to be swung out to face any position in the room. We assess your corner and recommend the right solution.
What type of bracket is used for corner TV mounting?
The most common option is a corner TV bracket — a flat bracket with an angled plate that positions the TV at 45 degrees to face into the room from a corner. The second option is a full-motion (articulating) bracket mounted on one wall, with the arm extended to position the TV at the required angle. Both are available and have different trade-offs.
Does corner mounting affect the picture quality?
Corner mounting positions the TV at an angle to at least one seating position. The viewing angle to the screen matters — modern LCD and OLED TVs handle off-centre viewing differently. We can advise on the optimum angle and position for your room to ensure the best picture from your primary viewing position.
How are cables managed in a corner TV installation?
Corner cable management requires a bit more planning than a flat wall install. We can route cables along the corner joint using right-angle trunking (which sits neatly in the corner itself), or — on plasterboard walls only — route them inside the wall. For a corner with a socket nearby on plasterboard, behind-wall routing is often the cleanest solution.
Can you mount a TV in a corner on plasterboard?
Yes. For plasterboard corners, we use cavity anchors as standard. Depending on stud positions relative to the corner, we may fix into one or both walls. We always scan for pipes and cables in both walls before drilling.
Is corner TV mounting more expensive?
Corner mounting typically takes slightly longer than a flat-wall install due to the additional planning and angle positioning. Corner installs use the same pricing structure as our other installs — see our pricing page for current rates. Bracket and cable hiding are confirmed in your quote so you know what is included.
How much does corner TV mounting cost?
Corner TV mounting starts from £150 (Standard tier) and most corner installs use our Premium tier (from £200) because we use a full-motion bracket so the screen swings out into the room. See /pricing.
