The Challenge
Why Apartments Need Specialist Care
Apartment buildings combine different wall constructions, and rules differ from building to building.
Mixed wall construction
Apartments can combine concrete structural walls, plasterboard partition walls, and metal-stud dry-lining — sometimes all in one room. The right method changes wall by wall.
Neighbour and building considerations
Shared walls, quiet hours, building management permissions, and lift access for equipment all add to the planning. We handle apartment installs regularly and know what to check.
Leaseholder-friendly approach
Minimal drilling, careful surface handling, and a clear record of the work so you can describe it to your managing agent or landlord if they ask. Public liability insurance on every installation.
Our Method
How We Handle Apartments
Wall Assessment First
Before drilling, we identify the wall type — concrete, plasterboard, metal stud, or blockwork — and check for pipes and cables with professional detectors.
Right Tool for Every Surface
SDS hammer drills for concrete and masonry, standard drivers for plasterboard. Fixings sized to the TV's loaded weight on the day, against the wall we find.
Dust Containment
We use vacuum collars and dust sheets so your apartment stays as clean as when we arrived. No debris in hallways or lifts.
Fully Insured & Lease-Safe
Full public liability insurance on every job. We work within lease restrictions and are familiar with the requirements of most London building managers.

Common Questions
Apartment TV Mounting FAQ
Can you mount a TV on an apartment wall?
Yes — we mount TVs in apartments of every construction type: concrete, plasterboard partition, blockwork, and metal-stud dry-lined walls. We assess your wall on arrival and use the right fixings and tools for each surface. All work is fully insured.
What if my apartment has concrete walls?
Concrete is one of the strongest substrates for TV mounting. We use SDS hammer drills with diamond-tipped masonry anchors sized to the TV's loaded weight. Drilling takes longer than on plasterboard, but the result is very secure for most domestic TVs.
Will drilling disturb my neighbours?
Drilling on masonry or concrete is briefly louder than on plasterboard, though the drilling itself is a short part of the visit. We're happy to work within any quiet-hours restrictions set by your building management or lease — just let us know at booking.
Do I need permission from the building management to mount a TV?
It depends on your lease terms — please check before booking. Some leases allow non-structural interior alterations without formal consent; others require written permission from the freeholder or managing agent. We can describe the work clearly so you can relay it accurately when asking.
What about shared / party walls with my neighbours?
We avoid drilling into shared party walls where possible — an interior or perimeter wall is usually a better option. If a shared wall is your only option, please check what your lease and the freeholder allow first; we use short cavity fixings and keep drilling depth within your side of the wall where feasible.
How much does apartment TV mounting cost?
Apartment TV mounting starts from £100. Most apartments are plasterboard or solid block; jobs typically fall in our Standard tier (from £150). We carry the right fixings for both. See /pricing.

“Found him on Facebook and I couldn't believe the price. His rates are very affordable compared to other high street retailers eg Curry's. You can't beat this price. Professionally he is a perfectionist. He provided free advice on the mount I got relative to the specification of the wall in my flat.”
